I'm Tate. I founded Bay Area Disability in 2014 with one overriding objective: to help as many deserving people with disabilities as possible win their claims for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) Benefits - and do it with compassion, grace, and empathy. Over my nearly twelve years of SSDI-focused practice and hard-fought experience, my mission has evolved and crystallized: I aim to be the foremost small-business/boutique Social Security Disability attorney in the country.
I am a disability attorney. It's not just what I do, but it's my passion and a big part of who I am. I represent people with disabilities - all different types of disabilities, all walks of life - throughout the country. If, after learning about your case, I am confident can help you, it would be an honor and a privilege to be your Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) lawyer. I'm here to help and look forward to hearing from you.

I'm a Marin County native - born and raised - and feel extraordinarily grateful and lucky to call Marin home. I live with my partner; together, she and I are raising two extraordinary girls. I'm a foodie, bibliophile (book lover), cinephile (film lover), and philomath (lover of learning). When I'm not working, I'm enjoying time with my family, hiking the trails of Mt. Tamalpais and Marin, planning my next trip, and devising ways to be an even more effective representative for my clients and an even stronger advocate for everyone with disabilities.
